Nominate a local artist, arts collective, or arts supporter who has made a meaningful impact in Kingston’s creative community.
The City of Kingston is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Mayor’s Arts Awards, an annual program that honours excellence in the arts.
Residents are encouraged to nominate a local artist, arts collective, or arts supporter who has made a meaningful impact in Kingston’s creative community.
The awards, now in their ninth year, are managed by the Kingston Arts Council.
There are two categories: the Creator Awards, recognizing artistic merit and innovation, and the Arts Champion Award, which celebrates those who support and grow the local arts sector.
"Artists enrich our lives and help make Kingston vibrant and dynamic," said Nicole Daniels, Executive Director of the Kingston Arts Council.
A community-led subcommittee will review nominations and select this year’s recipients.
Nominations are open until Friday, July 18 at 5 p.m. The 2025 Mayor’s Arts Awards ceremony will be held in the fall.
