Students will be walking the picket lines along with striking workers on Thursday.
Some students at St. Lawrence College in Kingston plan to hold a walkout to show solidarity with striking support staff.
It is a protest by students over the labour dispute between support staff and Ontario's colleges.
One of the organizers of Thursday's student walkout, Maddy Wright, says support staff have an important role in the student's education.
Wright is taking social service at SLC.
She says libraries were once operated by support staff but two of the SLC campuses have now converted them to vending machines.
Wright says that does not help students achieve their goals.
The walkout begins at 1 pm.
Wright encourages every student to participate in the walkout.
More than 10,000 full-time support workers at 24 public colleges, including St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Brockville, and Cornwall, walked off the job last Thursday. Job security is one of the main sticking points in negotiations.
All colleges remain open during the labour dispute.
