Military personnel will be carrying weapons during exercises but no live ammunition will be used.
Be aware of military personnel in and around CFB Kingston.
The Canadian Armed Forces are conducting training exercises on Friday during off-peak hours. They say the purpose of the exercises is to support military training and readiness on the base.
In a news release from the Department of National Defence, military personnel will be carrying weapons but there will be no live ammunition used. They say safety protocols will be strictly followed and there is no risk to individuals in the training area.
Pedestrians and vehicles entering the base will be asked to present government-issued identification. They may be asked to state their purpose, and be subject to further searches.
They want to thank the public in advance for their cooperation.
