Officers were initially called to a business in the area of Arlington Park Place and Midpark Drive early Tuesday morning.
Multiple police forces collaborated to nab three people in connection to a break and enter in Kingston.
Kingston Police were called to a business in the area of Arlington Park Place and Midpark Drive around 12:55 am Tuesday.
Investigators say officers arrived to find two individuals fleeing the business on foot. A foot chase ensued until the suspects got away in an awaiting vehicle being driven by a third person and fled the scene nearly striking one of the pursuing officers.
They say the vehicle was later found abandoned by Lennox and Addington OPP near Country Rd. 4 and Millhaven Rd. in Loyalist Township.
Investigators say a containment area was established and the canine unit was deployed.
A 27-year-old and a 28-year-old, both from Kingston, and a 48-year-old from Stouffville were apprehended and taken back to Kingston to face charges.
