We are officially into Spring!

Environment Canada is predicting warmer than normal temperatures.

With the winter we've had, many people are understandably eager for the warmer weather of Spring to arrive.

The season officially began on Friday and Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson tells us what we can expect.

A nice change from what's felt --to many-- like an extra long winter. As for the rest of Spring?

And if you thought it was a colder and snowier winter than normal, Coulson says you're right.

For those who love the snow, Coulson says this winter did not disappoint, especially in certain areas.

Spring officially arrived at 10:46 am.
