OPP reminding drivers to share the road.
With the seasons definitely changing and our roads and highways drying up, the OPP's Sergeant Kerry Schmidt is out with a reminder about sharing the road with seasonal vehicles.
He says it may take a while to get used to sharing the road with motorcycles, so please be aware, give lots of distance and watch your speed.
Schmidt says doing your part is vital to making the roadways safe for all.
The OPP will be out in force over the warmer months, just as they were during the winter.
Bad weather affected roads more this past winter than in recent years. That has Schmidt saying a collaborative effort moving forward will make for a better experience for all drivers.
You can also expect the regular long-weekend blitzes on our highways, waterways and trails too, beginning with the May long weekend which is now just weeks away.
