South Frontenac says despite the weather conditions, they anticipate work to be completed by end of January.
Crews continue to work on the delayed Fish River bridge replacement in South Frontenac.
The Township issued a news release on Wednesday to update its residents on the bridge.
They say crews have been working through the freezing rain and snowfall over the last several weeks. But they also say they continue to make progress towards completing the work.
The one-lane bridge on Bobs Lake Road has been closed since July. Work on the bridge replacement was expected to be done by September but that was pushed to November.
They now hope to have it opened by the end of January.
The Township did say they are currently working on removing the middle level of steel beams within the de-watering enclosure, backfill the de-watering enclosure with granular materials, and remove sheet piling systems and reopening the creek in its original path of flow.
